Jonathan Lee Recruitment would like to congratulate the Automobile Division Essex Centre of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for recently winning the Institution’s prestigious ‘Strategic Achievement Award’ for the first time, after stiff competition from all the other Divisions and Groups within the Institution.

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is a proud sponsor of the Essex Centre of the Automobile Division and is delighted that their hard work and innovation has been recognised in this way. One of the many things the Centre has been looking at recently is the application of Formula 1 energy saving technology to road vehicles, something that could have a real impact on the efficiency of the cars we drive in the future.

It is this sort of work that has helped the Division live up to the IMechE’s vision of ‘improving the world through engineering.’

On receiving the award, the Chairman of the Essex Centre, Eur Ing Charles Morlham, MSc, CEng, FIMechE, MIET, said: “I am very proud to be Chairman of the first Automobile Division Centre to hold this award and this is a very significant achievement.”
