From the candidate’s perspective, it can mean a higher income and increased flexibility and Mark believes that contracting can actually be more secure in the current climate:

“I feel more secure in a contract role, particularly at the moment when permanent employees are at risk of redundancy. It seems as though there is still a lot of work for contractors as it is easier and more flexible for employers. It feels like the safer option.”
