PGA Midlands Breast Cancer Golf Day

On Monday 19th October 2009, Finlay Clark - PGA Midlands Captain 2009, held his Captain's Day at Blackwell Golf Club, Worcestershire in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.

As a close friend of Fin's, Print Services' Mark Denison offered to produce all of the marketing and application forms for the event free of charge. Wine and Hamper Gifts also donated one of their H19 Lyttleton hampers as a prize. Breast Cancer has touched Fin and Mark's lives with the loss of both their Mother's to this terrible disease. The small contribution that Porter and Woodman was able to make to the day was the least we could do.

It was a beautiful day at an outstanding course and although Mark didn't feel confident enough to play in the competition, he did get to walk round the course with Fin's team, which consisted of 2 ex-Directors of the Baggies and Ashley Giles (Warks & England cricketer).

A great day was rounded off by a superb meal in the clubhouse. All of our efforts paid off, as we managed to raise over £10,000 for the Breast Cancer Campaign, an amazing achievement for a day's work.
