Porter and Woodman is based in the old glass industry town of Stourbridge, just to the south west of Birmingham.

Stourbridge is the most westerly town of the West Midlands County and is bordered by Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

Porter and Woodman is very proud to have its roots firmly set in Stourbridge, with the majority of its workforce originating from the local area and the surrounding Black Country towns.

The reliance we place on our local workforce, prompts us to support the local community as much as possible. Here are a few examples of the work we do in the locality.

Stourbridge RFC
As avid rugby fans (with one ex-player), we support Stourbridge RFC in as many ways as we can, supplying them with most of their marketing materials for games and events at the Club. Mark is also a qualified coach and spends most of his Sunday mornings coaching up to 35 Under 8s (which is why he can be a little jaded on a Monday morning - honest!).

Stourbridge has its own website to promote the town and its businesses. Porter and Woodman supports the site with an online advert.

Sunfield Special Needs School
Based in the nearby village of Clent, the school supports children and young adults with severe and complex learning needs. Porter and Woodman supports the charity through its help with projects by Jonathan Lee Recruitment.

Mary Stevens Hospice
Jonathan Lee Recruitment and its subsidiary, Factura, both support the day care facility for Cancer patients at Mary Stevens Hospice. Porter and Woodman supports their efforts in any way it can.

Dudley MBC Charity for Looked After Children
Porter and Woodman donates 10% of any sale made to Dudley MBC to the Council's Charity for Looked After Children.

St. Josephs Primary School
As a member of the PTA, Mark supports the school in a number of its activities, including the printing of marketing materials to promote PTA organised events. Mark and his team also do a 'mean' BBQ at the Summer Fayre.

COMIC Theatre
Based in nearby Clent, COMIC Theatre is a community opera and music group that provides high quality productions to the local community. It promotes the involvement of young people of disability or disadvantage, who can benefit greatly by being part of a theatrical production. Porter and Woodman supports the group by producing their production programmes.

Black Country Chamber of Commerce
Porter and Woodman (Gifts) Limited is a full member of the Chamber of Commerce, with Print Services representing (whenever possible) the company at Chamber events.

Stuart Thomas - Stourbridge Photographer
Stuart is a local amateur photographer to whom his home town is very important, His work is featured on the Print Services website and sold as canvas prints in our Large Format Print section. Stuart's work reflects the depth of feeling he has for Stourbridge and its surrounding areas.
