The Customer - UCE Birmingham Business School
Business School of the University of Central England, based in Perry Barr, Birmingham.

The Requirement
UCE Birmingham Business School was exhibiting at the Business Start Up Show at the NEC in February 2007. They required an A5 leaflet about their courses aimed at business start ups along with A1 posters and a personalised hamper to give away as a prize.

The Solution
All items were required with a 4 day turnaround. Designs for the leaflet were submitted first and put straight on press after approval, allowing plenty of drying time for the heavy ink coverage.

The posters were then produced using P&W Print Services' large format Epson 9600 printer.

A bespoke non-alcoholic hamper was designed based on Porter and Woodman's Christmas Chest hamper and was personalised using a screen printed wooded swing tag.

All items were delivered on time, prior to set up for the exhibition.

Conclusion
This was an excellent example of two of Porter and Woodman's departments working closely together to provide a fast, efficient and quality service for a client's requirements; combining design, large format digital print, litho print, screen print, wooden packaging and corporate gifts on one project.
